OdooClass Privacy Policy

This policy explains how First Class Ventures, LLC DBA OdooClass.com collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal information for the OdooClass website, optional Google sign-in, and Channel Studio in Factory Line / Data Factory, our internal YouTube channel management and publishing preparation tool. First Class Ventures, LLC is responsible for these services and the data practices described here.

The dedicated privacy-policy URL is https://odooclass.com/privacy-policy. The Google and YouTube data provisions below apply specifically to information received through Google APIs. The separate section on other website data does not expand the permitted uses of Google API data. Our Terms of Service are a separate document.

Purpose and current access

OdooClass provides Odoo training, software and consulting. Channel Studio helps the owner, Greg Moss, organize his authorized YouTube channels, inspect published video information, review performance, and prepare improvements and resource links for educational and business videos. Channel Studio is currently for the owner's internal use only; it is not open for public registration or third-party channel onboarding. Any public release requires a further review of permissions, data handling and these disclosures.

The current Google-connected Channel Studio features read channel information and optional analytics. Library synchronization and review rules do not themselves upload videos or change YouTube titles, descriptions or visibility. Content creation and publication are separate workflows that require the owner's authorization.

Data we access and collect

Optional website Google sign-in: Google account identifier, name, email address, email verification status and basic profile information supplied by Google under the openid, profile and email permissions. We use identity information to create, link and authenticate an OdooClass account. This is separate from connecting a YouTube channel.
Channel identity and video library: the authorized channel's identifier and name, uploads playlist identifier, video identifiers, titles, descriptions, publication dates, URLs, visibility, duration, caption availability, custom-thumbnail status and available view, like and comment counts. This can include non-public metadata for the owner's authorized channel.
Optional YouTube Analytics: when the owner selects analytics and grants the additional permission, daily and per-video views, watch time, average view duration and percentage viewed, likes, comment counts, shares, and subscribers gained and lost. These are channel performance measurements, not individual viewers' identities or private messages.
Connection and operational information: OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted permissions, token expiry, the channel-to-project association, synchronization timestamps and status, and operational error information. Google handles Google passwords; we do not receive them.
Owner-entered information: project details, review rules, course or product links, affiliate disclosures and other text the owner explicitly saves for channel work. These are distinguished from imported Google API data.

Connecting a channel does not grant this tool access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts or Google Calendar. The Google authorization screen identifies the permissions requested for the selected connection; optional analytics requires additional consent.

How we use Google and YouTube data

We use the data to verify access to the selected channel, maintain its authorized connection, display and search its video library, show performance reports, export reports at the owner's request, and identify videos matching the owner's review rules. Refresh tokens allow the authorized connection to continue without asking the owner to sign in for every request. Website sign-in information is used for account access and the services associated with that account.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising targeting, provide it to data brokers, or use it to train or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models. Channel Studio's library, analytics and rule-based review features do not send imported Google data or OAuth tokens to generative AI providers. Separate AI content creation features do not acquire access to a connected channel merely because the owner connected it.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Data storage and protection

Connection credentials and cached channel records are stored on our application servers in the application's database. Channel access is associated with the authorized account and project. Google API requests use HTTPS; access to the application and its infrastructure is restricted. OAuth tokens are not displayed in channel reports or published with videos.

Authenticated application access and account/project authorization checks protect channel records from other users. Google account connections use an authorization code flow with a temporary state value and a proof-key challenge to protect the authorization exchange. Only the authorized channel is accepted. These controls protect access to data; they do not grant employees, other customers or AI services unrestricted access to a connected Google account.

Data sharing, transfers and human access

Data is processed by Google/YouTube and by infrastructure providers needed to host and operate our service. Access is limited to the owner and authorized service administration or support where necessary to operate the service, investigate security issues, or meet legal obligations. Imported channel data is not offered to other customers or made public by the reporting interface. The owner may deliberately export a report; downloaded copies are then under the owner's control. Google data is not transferred for unrelated marketing or AI training.

Google and YouTube: receive authorization and API requests necessary to connect the owner's channel and return the requested library information or analytics.
Hosting and infrastructure providers: process stored records and network traffic as necessary to run the application. This does not authorize them to use Google data for their own advertising, resale or model training.
Support and security: human access is limited to the owner's authorized administration, specific support the owner requests, necessary security investigations, or compliance with applicable law.
Other third parties: we do not sell, rent or transfer Google API data to advertisers, data brokers, information resellers, lenders or generalized AI/ML training providers. Any new recipient or purpose requires an updated disclosure and any required consent before that new use begins.

Retention and deletion

Imported video metadata and analytics have a cache lifetime of no more than 30 days. Expired entries are excluded from reports and removed by the application's cleanup process; synchronization or refresh obtains current information from YouTube. OAuth credentials remain while a connection is active, until disconnected or replaced. Owner-authored links and review rules, and a connection record, may remain until separately removed because they are not the imported video or analytics cache.

Website Google sign-in records: the Google account identifier, name, email and account association used for OdooClass login are retained while the associated OdooClass account is needed to provide account access and purchased services. The 30-day YouTube cache period does not apply to these account records. You may request deletion of the Google association or the account by email. We may retain transaction records required for accounting, resolving disputes or legal obligations, but this does not authorize continued access to a revoked Google account.

Clear imported data: in Channel Studio, open the channel's Video library, expand Stored data controls, and choose Clear imported data. This deletes the application's imported video records and analytics reports. It keeps the connection, saved links and review rules.
Disconnect: choose Disconnect on the channel. This removes local access and refresh tokens and clears imported video and analytics data for that connection. Disconnecting one project does not revoke Google's entire application grant or disconnect other projects.
Revoke at Google: visit Google Account third-party connections and remove the application's access. Use the application's deletion or disconnect control as well to remove locally stored imports; Google revocation is a separate action.
Request assistance or full deletion: email [email protected] with the subject “Google data deletion”, or use OdooClass Contact Us. Identify the application and channel or account, and state whether you want imported data, the Google connection, or your account deleted. We may verify that you control the affected account before acting. Do not send passwords or OAuth tokens. Requests to delete stored Google/YouTube API data will be handled within 30 days. Website account or purchase records required for accounting or legal obligations are handled separately under the website policy.

These controls do not delete videos hosted on YouTube. Manage those videos in YouTube Studio. Previously exported files and restricted backup copies are separate from the active application cache; backup copies are removed through backup rotation and must not be used to restore revoked access.

YouTube, cookies and third-party policies

Channel Studio uses YouTube API Services. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. By using Channel Studio's YouTube-connected features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. OdooClass uses website session cookies for login and site operation. Embedded YouTube players and external Google pages may use their own cookies and collect device or playback information under Google's policy. The general website policy describes other website cookies; those practices do not authorize advertising use of imported Google API data.

Acceptable use and AI-generated imagery

OdooClass and Channel Studio are for lawful education, business content and authorized channel management. We prohibit using our applications or Google APIs to create, facilitate, upload or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII). The owner must have the necessary rights and consent for people, likenesses, voices and media used in content. This tool is not offered for generating sexual deepfakes or intimate imagery.

The owner must review content, permissions and publication choices before publishing. Connecting a Google account is not consent to publish its private data or use a person's likeness. Suspected misuse or privacy concerns can be reported through Contact Us.

Other OdooClass website data

This section concerns information provided directly to OdooClass or collected through the website. It does not authorize additional use or sharing of Google sign-in information, connected-channel records or YouTube Analytics data.

Information collected and why

Accounts and purchases: contact details, billing information, orders, payment status and transaction references, course enrollment, access entitlements and learning progress. We use these to deliver purchased services, manage accounts, process orders and provide support. Payment providers process the payment information submitted through their payment interfaces.
Support, consulting and content requests: messages, questions, project details and files you choose to submit. We use these to respond to you, deliver requested consulting or educational content, and keep a record of the service provided. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or information you do not have permission to share.
Technical and usage information: IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, session information and error or security logs. We use these to operate the website, maintain sessions, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse and understand website usage.
Communication preferences: subscriptions and marketing choices you provide. Where you opt in, we may send relevant updates or offers; you can unsubscribe using the message's unsubscribe link or contact us. Essential account, order and support messages may still be sent.

Website service providers and AI-assisted services

Hosting, payment, email and support providers process information necessary to supply those services. If you request AI-assisted educational content, the brief, questions or materials you deliberately submit may be processed by the content-generation services used to fulfill that request. This is separate from Channel Studio's Google connection: connecting Google does not give those services access to imported Google API data or OAuth tokens. We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose necessary information to comply with applicable law or protect the service against fraud and security threats.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Essential cookies maintain login sessions, shopping-cart state and website preferences. Website analytics and advertising technologies may measure visits or campaign conversions and may collect device information, cookie identifiers or browsing events, subject to applicable consent requirements. These website events are distinct from the Google API data described above; Google API data is not used for targeted advertising. External links, embedded videos and payment pages may collect information under their providers' own policies. You can manage cookies in your browser and through any cookie controls presented on the website. Blocking essential cookies can prevent login or checkout from working.

Website retention, rights and requests

We retain account and service records for as long as needed to provide account access, purchased services and support, and retain records needed for accounting, legal obligations or resolving disputes. Technical logs are retained for operational and security purposes. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes. This website retention rule does not override the specific Google and YouTube retention and deletion provisions above.

You can request access, correction, a copy of your information, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. We may verify your identity to protect your information and explain any records we must retain. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out. Our services use internet infrastructure and third-party services that may process information outside your country.

OdooClass and Channel Studio are intended for professional education and business use, not services directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

Before opening Channel Studio to other users or introducing new uses of Google data, we will review this policy, update the disclosures and obtain any additional consent required. The date above identifies this revision.
