Live Odoo workshops
Who are these workshops for?
Each week we offer two primary workshops:
- The technical/developer workshop are for people who wish to learn how to install, configure and customize Odoo. These could be Odoo partners, IT professionals or Odoo developers who wish to get assistance solving specific problems;
- The Odoo Fundamentals or Essentials workshops are designed for getting the most out of Odoo. In these workshops we explore Odoo applications and how Odoo can be used to improve virtually any business process.
How do you deliver the workshops?
We are currently providing the workshops using Skype and other screen sharing applications but can often make accommodations for alternative platforms. Workshop sizes we like to keep at 5 people or less so that everyone gets plenty of time to collaborate. Even as a subscriber we ask that you let us know in advance if you plan to attend a workshop and what specific problems you are trying to address with Odoo. This way we can offer additional times and workshop events so that there is plenty of time for everyone. It is recommended that you have a headset and already be familiar with the basics of using technologies such as Skype, GotoMeeting, Teamviewer and so forth. We want to use the communication tools that work for you so we will listen to your feedback. Part of the advantage of these workshops is an opportunity for Odoo users, integrators, and developers to find even better ways to communicate.
Workshop Collaboration
The purpose of the workshops is to for professional Odoo consultants work together with workshop participants to solve real world business problems with Odoo. Because the workshops will be interactive it is important that all workshop participants are professional and allow everyone to participate. All participants are responsible for following their own company's privacy policy, and non-disclosure agreements as well as protecting any and all confidential information they may have regarding clients or third parties. We encourage sharing of real issues but always ask that you take great precautions in protecting sensitive documents, credentials, trade secrets, or proprietary company information.
What is the workshop schedule?
Workshops are held weekly and schedules are sent out to subscribers in advance. We keep the schedule somewhat flexible and often offer multiple workshops each week to accommodate different time zones. Each week we offer a minimum of two workshops, one technical/developer and one that is functional. We also structure workshops based on demand and load to make sure that everyone gets a chance to ask questions and get answers. Once again we will work with subscribers to develop the best possible schedule. In a pinch we will be doing our best to get a good recording of these workshops and those who cannot attend can submit topics and discussion questions ahead of time.

Workshop Preparation
To get the most from these workshops we ask subscribers to submit workshop topic requests and questions they may have 3-5 days in advance of the workshop. We will then draw up an agenda to try and address as many topics as possible with each week.
Is there a difference in what is in the monthly workshops versus the weekly workshops?
The only difference between weekly and monthly workshops is the frequency. Monthly subscribers can attend one workshop per month while weekly subscribers can attend every workshop we offer.
Do I have to pay for the video subscriptions separately?
No. All of our workshop subscriptions include full access to the video library for the duration of your subscription.
